The LBD and Statment Shoe

We all go into this party season with good intentions… But no matter how much I try, I cannot resist all the yummy food that’s scattered around the house. This year I’ll really leave the mince pies alone. But how long does that actually last? A day, maybe two.

So why don’t we stop fighting a losing battle and make the best of  bad thing. The LBD. The colour that can hide a multitude of sins – and what do you get to wear with a LBD? The statement shoe. It may have gained a reputation for being the lazy girls party dress, but the following five looks are sure to put an end to that…

Sequin Fringe Flapper Dress – Topshop £49

Clapham Glitter Heal – Miss Selfridge £39 £25

Total: £88 £74

Halter Neck Body Con Dress – Miss Selfridges £25

Red Contrast Toe Cap Point Court Shoes – River Island £50 £30

Sleeveless Glitter Dress – Miss Selfridges £35

The V-Necked Dress – Zara £59.99

Patent High Healed Mules – Zara £39.99

And I always save the best till last…
